Faye started with us at Wolfdale School in September 2018 and was extremely shy and struggled with her speech, reading and writing. Fast forward to now and she has built her confidence and skill levels enough to be able to call The Ady Dayman Radio Show on BBC Radio Leicester and speak to the public about how much she enjoys being at Wolfdale. I know during the lockdown period she was an avid listener to the station regularly contributing to shows by calling in and sending pictures.

During the height of lockdown restrictions Faye also wrote several letters to her neighbours to help keep spirits up and her efforts and sense of community spirit have made us here at Wolfdale School so proud she is one of our students.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Ady Dayman and Producer Matt Smith along with everyone else at BBC Radio Leicester as they provide an fully inclusive service for all people to access and that is priceless.

As a growing school, this year we will be starting our Creative Media lessons which we hope will create aspirations for our children and their future careers.
